ab+c Creative Intelligence turns Washington Street into Madison Ave.
Wilmington, DE — With the theme of AMC’s hit series Mad Men, ab+c hosted more than 500 guests last month to celebrate the marketing communications agency’s 40th anniversary. While sampling hors d’oeuvres and enjoying a martini or two, employees, clients and guests showcased their best 1960s Mad Men/Madison Avenue attire at the Washington Street office.
“When we started ab+c 40 years ago, this was the atmosphere we coveted: creative, smart and fun,” said John Hawkins, president and CEO of ab+c. “We have enjoyed many years of great clients and good friends; our anniversary was the perfect time to celebrate the spirit of our agency and our achievements.”
The ab+c board room was transformed into a gambling hall and the “great room” became a cocktail lounge. The party featured Philadelphia food trucks, allowing guests to feast on treats including Dapper Dogs, Pitruco’s wood-fired pizza and Buttercream’s sweet desserts. Guests posed for pictures in a photo booth and grooved to The Isley Brothers, The Beatles and classic ’60s’ bands into the late hours of the night.
