AB&C Earns Three Recognitions in the Nationwide Aster Awards Competition

WILMINGTON, Del. (June 6, 2017)— Aloysius Butler & Clark (AB&C), one of the region’s largest full-service marketing communications agencies, received three separate recognitions in the 2017 Aster Awards Competition. All three awards—two silver and one bronze—were given for AB&C’s “Better. Together.” campaign, developed for Abington – Jefferson Health.

For the past 15 years, the Aster Awards have recognized the most talented professionals in healthcare marketing for outstanding strategy and creative implementation. The Aster Awards Competition is considered the nation’s most elite for honoring excellence in healthcare advertising, marketing and communications. It also offers the most inclusive groups and categories when compared to other healthcare marketing awards programs.

Presented with the challenge of driving positive public perception when Abington Health joined forces with Jefferson University, AB&C developed the “Better Together” campaign, which worked to strengthen branding for the new Abington – Jefferson Health while guiding the community to explore the possibilities and extraordinary benefits resulting from the two hospitals combining resources. In the competition’s Healthcare System Group, AB&C’s “Better. Together.” campaign received Aster Awards in these categories:

  • Magazine Advertising Series: silver award
  • Outdoor Transit Series: silver award
  • Total Advertising Campaign: bronze award

The agency’s winning entries were selected by a distinguished panel of judges comprising design and healthcare professionals with decades of experience in their respective fields. The entries attained distinction in the above categories based on criteria including creativity, layout/design, typography, production, quality and overall effectiveness.
